The main season 2026 is approaching. There is not a lot of snow on Folgefonna this winter so far, but hopefully enough to give us nice ski trips along Folgefonna, Jondal-Rosendal now in April-May. We already have a number of snowshoe trips for groups, this is increasing now throughout the spring and our daily guided tours start on May 23, and run every day until November. Our signature hike called "Blue Ice Hik"e have been arranged since 1994, on is still the most popular hike! We are looking forward to a great season with many great nature experiences on Folgefonna, we offer tours for everyone, from easy hiking to demanding ice climbing!

Overall, the weather at Folgefonna has been fantastic this fall, a storm here and a little snow there, and some days with magical dense fog on the glacier, but we have had many days of brilliant weather!

Autumn is our favorite time on the glacier! Daily hikes until 12th October. The air is clear and gives us a magnificent view of the fjord below us, and the sea to the west!
