Folgefonna give us great world-class nature experiences but glacier gives also important knowledge about prehistoric climate.
One of the core values for Folgefonni Glacier Team is to have first hand knowledge about the glacier. We cooperate with scientific institutions to convey updated knowledge about the glacier, climate etc. on the hikes. We offer tours with academic content according to curricula for school classes.

Check the map and find start point for all standard guided hikes. For tailor made hikes/event the whole Folgefonna peninsula is our play ground.
