Overall, the weather on Folgefonna has been fantastic this fall, a storm here and there and a little snow there, and some days with magical dense fog on the glacier, but we have had many days of brilliant weather!
We have trips ahead every day until November, but we expect that soon there will be snow and our season for ice trips will be over for this year. Then we will find snowshoes and skis, and look forward to nice trips in fresh snow! It is fascinating to see the changes through the seasons on the glacier. Now it is snow, cold and darkness that are on the way!

Autumn is our favorite time on the glacier! Daily hikes until 12th October. The air is clear and gives us a magnificent view of the fjord below us, and the sea to the west!
